日本表面真空学会のマイクロビームアナリシス技術部会（MBA）では、SISS事業として、The 24th Scientific International Symposium on SIMS and Related Techniques Based on Ion-Solid Interactions（SISS-24）を開催いたします。本シンポジウムは、イオンと固体の相互作用に基づくSIMSおよび関連技術に関する国際的な会議であり、基礎、装置開発、データ解析、さらには半導体、工業材料、生物・医学、地球科学など幅広い分野への応用について活発な議論が行われます。
2025年はSISS-24として、兵庫県姫路市のイーグレひめじにてオンサイトおよびリモート形式（ハイブリッド）で開催いたします。
本年は、京都大学の松尾二郎教授のご退職を記念し、松尾先生がGCIB-SIMS技術の発展に果たされた卓越した貢献を讃え、その功績を振り返るとともに、今後の発展や応用について議論する特別セッションを開催します。

Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the organizing committee of the Scientific International Symposium on SIMS and Related Techniques Based on Ion-Solid Interactions (SISS), we are pleased to announce that SISS-24 will take place from June 18 to 20, 2025, in Himeji, Japan.
As a special event in 2025, we will honor Professor Jiro Matsuo, who will retire from Kyoto University, for his outstanding contributions to the development of SIMS technology.
SISS-24 will be held in a hybrid format. Please note that the poster session will be available only for in-person attendees.
Conference Overview
· Date: June 18 (Wed) – June 20 (Fri), 2025.
· Venue: Egret Himeji, Himeji, Japan (MAP: https://maps.app.goo.gl/35abQGJqyfyNGNto6)
· Format: Hybrid (On-site & Remote)
· Note: SISS-24 will be held in a hybrid format, allowing participants to join the oral sessions online if they are unable to attend in person.
