In the event of cancellation of registration, 50% of registration fee will be refunded if the cancellation notice was received prior to October 17, 2024. No refund will be made if the cancellation notice was received after October 17, 2024. It should be noted that all refunds will be made after the symposium.

During the registration application procedures, you can also register for excursions. The registration fee dose not include the fee for the excursion and banquet. However, the excursion and banquet will be financially supported by Demonstration Project for the Enhanced Impact of Hosting International Conferences of the Japan Tourism Agency. Therefore, all participants can attend the excursion and bauquet for free with subsidies from the Japan Tourism Agency. The detailed excursion program is now available on the Social Program page.
In recent years, there have been some malicious websites that lead visitors to fake registration sites, accommodation sites, etc. Please be careful.

The division of Microbeam Analysis (MBA) and the Japan Society of Vacuum and Surface Science (JVSS) welcome prospective members. The MBA and JVSS members can receive a discount on the registration fees for ALC'24. If you are interested in joining MBA or JVSS, please contact Secretary of ALC'24 Steering Committee. The MBA and JVSS membership fees are as follows.

Shimane Prefectural Convention Center locates near the Matsue station and it takes about 10 min on foot. The nearest airport is Izumo airport. There are several domestic flights from Tokyo (Haneda), Osaka (Itami), Sendai, Shizuoka, Nagoya and Fukuoka to Izumo airport. Another airport, Yonago airport, is also available and there are flights from Tokyo (Haneda), and Seoul (Incheon) to Yonago airport. There are bus transportations from Izumo and Yonago airports to Matue station, the operation times of which are adjusted to the arrival and departure times of each flight. It takes about 30 and 45 minutes from Izumo and Yonago airports to Matue station, respectively.

The registration desk will open at 16:00 on Nov. 17 at Kunibiki Messe.
The registration fee dose not include the fee for the mixer. However, the mixer will be financially supported by our sponsors. Therefore, all participants can attend the mixer for free with subsidies from our sponsors.

We are planning to have the following 3 courses as the excursion. If you wish to participate in the excursion, please select a course when registering. The final destination of the excursion is the banquet place, where is away from the conference site or the center of Matsue city. If you do not attend the banquet, you need to take a train or a taxi for the center of Matsue. After the banquet, shuttle busses to the Matsue station and Hotels (arranged by JTB) will be prepared.
The registration fee dose not include the fee for the excursion. However, the excursion will be financially supported by Demonstration Project for the Enhanced Impact of Hosting International Conferences of the Japan Tourism Agency. Therefore, all participants can attend the excursion for free with subsidies from the Japan Tourism Agency.

Banquet will be held at Shimane Winery on Thursday evening. As described above, the final destination of the excursion is the banquet place, so that you do not care about access to Shimane Winery. If you do not attend the excursion but attend the banquet, you need to come to Shimane Winery by yourself.
