The Kanto Chapter of the Japan Society of Vacuum and Surface Science is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Therefore, the 10th Anniversary Symposium of the Kanto Chapter will be held together with the members of the Young Members Section from all over Japan, who will lead the next generation. The first half of the symposium is the 8th Young Members Section Meeting (in Japanese), and the second half is the Kanto Chapter 10th Anniversary Symposium (in English). Symposium speakers have been invited who are at the forefront of vacuum and surface science in Japan and abroad. In addition, there will be company exhibits and poster presentations from the general public. There will be awards for the best student poster presentation and travel awards for young members, a social gathering on the evening of the first day, and an anniversary party on the evening of the second day. 日本表面真空学会関東支部は本年で10周年を迎えました。そこで、次代を担う全国の若手部会メンバーとともに、関東支部10周年記念シンポジウムを開催いたします。前半が第8回若手部会研究会（日本語）、後半が関東支部10周年記念シンポジウム（英語）になります。シンポジウム講演では、国内外の表面真空科学にまつわる第一線でご活躍の講演者をお呼びしました。また、企業の皆様による展示、一般公募によるポスター講演も行います。ポスター講演者の中から最優秀学生ポスター発表賞と若手会員トラベルアワードを表彰する他、初日の夜に交流会、2日目の夜には記念パーティーも行います。皆様の奮ってのご参加をお待ちしております。
